"Free" browsers must earn their revenue somehow... continuing development costs still must be paid. One way to do this is to rent out preferred placements in the browser to various paying service providers, such as operators of certain search engines. Usually, such arrangements preclude user-removal of those placements.
Any Youtube-video is blocked after the last Opera-update. I use
only the Opera-Adblocker. Is this the new Youtube-policy? I never had a problem since many years!
Yes, you are correct. The "options" link is very subtle, just about everything is hidden in it, and there are a lot of things on by default. This is just the way Opera rolls.
