@burnout426 Hi, i got the same Problem on the normal Opera browser months ago. I switched to GX where it worked fine still. Since yesterday i got the Log out issue on GX too. I went thorugh your troubleshooting list without success. Even the standalone version had the same issue. on both occassions it just happened. no changes were done. Is there anything left to check?
Icon appearing as a red file in my sidebar.

Try this first:

Goto the URL opera://settings/content/all, type google.com in the search field and click "Clear displayed content".

Then, goto the URL opera://settings/clearBrowserData and clear "Cached images and files" for all time.

Then, goto https://accounts.google.com/ and log in to just the one account that you want.

@arnbergd Last version that allowed you to do that was Opera 12. You can get it on https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/win/

Volume booster and equalizer extensions are known to break things. Don't know any workarounds besides not using those extensions.

While still allowing notifications for Gmail in general at the URL opera://settings/content/notifications?

If so, I think you'd have to do that in settings in Windows. Under System -> Notifications, you'd have to click on Opera and turn off sounds for Opera's notifications.

@airforce151 Yeah it's really annoying. I don't know why it doesn't have that feature. It happened many times that I close it by accident and I can't restore all previous tabs. They should add that. Chrome has it, not sure about other browsers. It's really useful feature.

@omaof6 Awesome. If that's the case, you can turn hardware acceleration back on and adjust the Angle flag for your GPU to see if you can solve the issue while keeping hardware acceleration on. That way, if successful, you can solve the issue while keeping performance. Up to you though.
