You can rename "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable" and "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Opera Software\Opera Stable" to start with a new profile. That might fix it.

You can goto the URL opera://about and make sure you have 95.0.4635.90. That's the last version of Opera that supports Windows 7.

If the crash is due to a bug in Opera (and not a corrupted profile), you're out of luck as the crash won't be fixed as Windows 7 is no longer supported.

@batman4473 if anyone else has this problem in the future and see's this post i figured out how to fix it you need to go to settings type in hardware then turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available" and it fixes the problem.

But in my case it refers mostly to the invisible favicon and disappearing favicon if there are pretty much opened tabs.

I'm on Win 10 and I can't confirm the invisible volume icon currently. But I don't use the Opera One as my daily browser. Nevertheless, maybe the issues are related.

@leocg Thanks for the reply. I just installed Opera on a new computer and it turns out that I was on a few websites that must have had their links setup that way (open in new tab) which caused me to think it was a general setting. But I later encountered other websites that did not open a new tab for each link. My bad.
