@leocg The problem is clearly in the client or the latest Windows updates. Those methods lead to nothing; the client is not installed on a clean system!

Guys, you don’t have to worry about all sorts of methods. I installed only Opera on a clean system (from scratch) - and the same problem. This is due to an update to their client, support is surprised by this.

As said, you need to highlight the entry you want to remove and click on the X on the right or use shift + del.

@hucker I suggested multiple times in the past that there should be a separate menu (button) on the start page itself to customize the start page directly (wallpapers, hide/show SD, hide/show search box and etc.).
And EasySetup could contain only options/features that cover the whole browser.

@mitranasiri if you open opera settings and type "shortcuts" into search box top right, in the results should be "Configure shortcuts". under that list that opens when you click configure shortcuts will be "toggle full screen". set a key bind or look what key is set there and try it. opera should toggle between full screen (i.e. hide the taskbar etc and show it full screen) or just maximized with taskbar showing. Try it and see what happens... it is either normal behaviour or you have some issue, but may help to drill it down a little, I think i am stating the obvious and you probably know this stuff better than me...

@artificerprogram I guess something went wrong during the installation. Or the shortcut is pointing to the wrong executable.

I would uninstall everything and install again.
Sync data between 2 different computers.

i cant download anything everything is downloaded as opera gx files even if i dont have opera gx anymore on my pc
X to close tab doesn't appear if you mouse over a tab while the animation for a new one is happening

This is fixed in 106.0.4985.0 so far. However, there's another bug where you just click the + button to open a new tab and don't move the mouse. The mouse will be over the new tab but there won't be an X on it. That needs to be fixed still.

There's also another bug with the X not showing when hovering over a tab when a bookmarks bar folder's menu is open. Fix is coming for that one (in 107 probably).
