I can. And I do. It is just that there's a limit. Once you use one emoji, it can't be used again for another workspace.
And this brings us to the limit of 25 workspaces. That's the number of emojis.

Personally, I don't understand why the default icons can be used only once but the emoji can be used as many time as you wish.

As you can see, there are 25 Icons, and I have used them all. I can't use them again. And I can't click on 'Add more' button. It is greyed out and it is inactive. Only when I delete a workspace I can create a new one.

If you have different interface and in fact you have more than 26 workspaces, please show me yours and we can compare why mine is different.

@leocg It is not. It depends on the resolution and size of the monitor I am using. At the moment I am using a 17 inch laptop and the sidebar scrolls very neatly.

I would really love to be able to add more spaces.
