@opera-qa-team: Wow, I asked at the time and they didn't answer honestly. I stopped using Opera GX because of that decision to remove the search box, and now they're doing the same with Opera One. The browser is becoming more like Chrome, so it's easier to use Chrome than Opera. I've been using the browser since version 6 and year after year I see it losing features. It's very sad, but I'm going to migrate to Vivaldi, which, unlike Opera, is gaining more and more features. It's sad to start the year deceiving its audience.

Hello,
i'm using Opera 126.0.5750.18 on Windows 11, version 25H2, which is up to date, on a tablet PC, i.e. with a touch screen. On a touch screen, right clicks are done by holding your finger for more than ~ one second on a link. In this Opera version, a right click locks the entire browser. No context menu appears, scrolling, minimizing or closing the browser, using the controls on the top right are impossible. The browser gets unusable.
best regards - labourer -

@andrew84: It's complicated to start the year with this kind of information, considering that in December, before Christmas, it was said that it was a bug and that it would be fixed, only to later apologize and say that they won't bring back the search box. I've been using Opera for a long time, but I'm going to switch to another browser because I don't like minimalist browsers like Chrome, and Opera had a different external appearance despite using the same engine.Since I'm the only one person using this option, they didn't change one that was disabled by default and activated only by those who wanted to use it. Before, we had options; now we have to follow the majority, and I don't accept that. Since they won't change it, I'll change it myself, to a browser that better suits my needs.

New Opera One (Windows 11) won't log me in to my banking site, Chase Bank.. However Chrome WILL!. I had this issue also with another bank site. Not happy, any advise?? I have deleted cookies and cleared cache all to no avail. Using new O 126.0.5750.59, and the previous version 126.0.5750.43 the login worked fine. Help

@bbildman You can goto the URL opera://browser.js and disable browser.js for the session to see if it helps.

When I go to that site, I get this message::
This site can’t be reached
The webpage at chrome://browser.js/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.ERR_INVALID_URL

@bbildman That’s my fault. Try opera://browserjs instead (without the dot).

When I do that, I get this::

. You can search "how to turn on JavaScript" in your search engine for your browser’s specific instructions." -

@bbildman Do you have javascript blocked for some reason by chance?
When I go to opera://browserjs/, I get:
browser.js is active. NOTE: Any change will apply only to pages loaded after making the change. Disable browser.js and User-Agent spoofing for the current session Today Opera Desktop November 3, 2025. Active patches: 23 -

@leocg Where this all started from is when I signed in with the correct Login/PW, this is the message I got::
"Important:It looks like this part of our site isn't working right now.
Try a different browser or the Chase Mobile app. If the problem continues, please try again later. Thanks for your patience."I then tried the login using Chrome and it works just fine, I am logged in. Disabling JS gets me the message that I need to turn on JS. And so I am unable to login using Opera. I guess I can just use Chrome, but this leaves me with many questions re: Opera's usefulness now and up the road if I cannot fix this. I have been using Opera for Windows for a couple decades. Thanks for any help you can give me
