Without extensions, I'm consistenly having a "Please wait" forever bug in low memory situations. Hitting the Back arrow is enough to cause it.

Killing a whole bunch of threads is enough to bring Opera back to life (the state where every tab shows the "out of memory" screen).

@davidgould if this is only for latest developer build and you are on Windows this could be related to opera://flags/#ui-compositor-multithreaded I mentioned before.

@davidgould: I can confirm. I had to close my browser at least 20 time in last three days for the same issue.

@gmiazga, it seems to help here. I didn't have another crash or fade out within the last 15 hours.

@gmiazga: Can confirm. Before disabling opera://flags/#ui-compositor-multithreaded I had very frequent crashes, often while browsing reddit. After disabling the flag I had no more crashes.

I've seen this reported already, but the "Open in workspace" menu is still shown in speed dial entries even if the workspaces feature is disabled. Not the end of the world but it would be more polished if the option was hidden.

Opera Sync with master password does not work properly. There is no opportunity to enter the master pw.

@xantares So you've enabled the use of a passphrase to encrypt your synced data but when you go to Menu > synchronize (or click on your avatar in the top right), you are not asked to provide your passphrase and the synchronization doesn't happen?
