@louwin Not closing Opera correctly may be a possible cause of the issue. Sessions files may have been corrupted.

Try renaming the Sessions folder in profile directory.

I appreciate the response though I don't use PC Matic SuperShield so it has resolve for me yet and it is still reoccurring. May I ask the other possible reason as to why this is still happening and if there is a way to fix this?

Excellent, been using it for what seems like a decade now. Not many issues and the team is quick to fix them. Seriously don't know what I would do without it, probably stop using the internet altogether since its become more and more driven by ads and invasive trackers and other privacy violating probes from corporations everywhere. Not even browsing Wikipedia is safe these days without something like Ghostery, and as far as such extensions go this is my number 1 choice.
