I still does not understand why video (beside youtube) does not work in deb package,
Opera is based on Chromium 145 now, so you need a libffmpeg.so that's compatible with Chromium 145. You can get it from https://github.com/Ld-Hagen/fix-opera-linux-ffmpeg-widevine/releases and put it in the "lib_extra" folder (that you create if it isn't there) in Opera's install folder (path shown at the URL
opera://about) while choosing to overwrite the existing libffmpeg.so in the "lib_extra" folder if you put one there before.When Opera moves to being based on Chromium 146, you'll have to do it again.
As an alternative, some users create a symlink in the "lib_extra" folder that points to the libffmpeg.so in the Chromium ffmpeg snap package so they don't have to change anything when Opera updates to a new major version of Chromium (as long as the one from the Snap package stays compatible).

@burnout426:
i know very well the problem with codecs in deb version. this why i switch from .deb to snap.
However opera always finds a way to keep broke it even in snap version
I did several comments / posts in opera forum,Other browser, also chromium base. i dont have such problem with codecs, i can install ffmpeg or even chromium-ffmpeg snap package, that it always find the correct path to the codecs.
like i said youtube work in debian package, however others diff website that you want watch something, forget because you cannot watch a video.
So what i dont understand why opera team still dont fix the path(s).
This affects all debian os base that use debian packages and rpm packages like fedora. -
