Please pay attention to the bug: BUG-21893

The dialog box for adding a page or folder to the bookmarks bar extends beyond the monitor borders.

              Steps to reproduce the issue:
1.Create multiple folders with several nesting levels (I have three).
2.Open the dialog box for adding a new folder or page to a third-level folder.
3.Then, you can try opening several more tree levels in this dialog box without collapsing them.
              4.Click "Save" or "Enter."
              5. After this, subsequent Add dialogs will always display the tree structure as it was when you last saved it. However, the dialog window extends beyond the screen, so much so that even collapsing all the branches doesn't help. You can only click Escape to close it.

snap version is again broken and this is even worse, beside wayland, does also not work on x11 session,
because this command this not work:
                  opera --ozone-platform=x11
always in major version, last time was in version 124.0.x.
                  https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2025/11/opera-124-0-5705-65-stable-update/ ( this was 3 months ago)

I still does not understand why video (beside youtube) does not work in deb package, now you broke again in a space time of 3 months.
                  WTF.

This time i did not verify before update, if exist any issue with opera. to do the backups of bookmarks 😢

                  Please fix this:
Content snap command-chain for /snap/opera/440/gpu-2404/bin/gpu-2404-provider-wrapper not found: ensure slot is connected

Like the other user, am using ubuntu 24.0.4, wayland session with gnome desktop.

                  Thank you

UPDATE: for those using snap, to go back to previous version of opera snap version try the command:

                  sudo snap revert opera

                    @ihor2444:

use this command to rollback to previous version of opera snap, for me worked like a charm:
                    sudo snap revert opera

I see in the new 129 Stable 's Print Preview module, Scale has been changed to a Default or Custom drop down. I think it'd be better to show the last setting upfront, rather than buried, so users don't make a mistake.

I also wish that after so many decades it would include a '1' as the default under the Pages options, something that has been standard in Windows programs for a long time.

Also, after logging into these comments, the message implies that user will be brought back to this page showing logged in, but it doesn't. One has to refresh the page, but know to copy the typed comment first.

Opera is based on Chromium 145 now, so you need a libffmpeg.so that's compatible with Chromium 145. You can get it from https://github.com/Ld-Hagen/fix-opera-linux-ffmpeg-widevine/releases and put it in the "lib_extra" folder (that you create if it isn't there) in Opera's install folder (path shown at the URL opera://about) while choosing to overwrite the existing libffmpeg.so in the "lib_extra" folder if you put one there before.

When Opera moves to being based on Chromium 146, you'll have to do it again.

As an alternative, some users create a symlink in the "lib_extra" folder that points to the libffmpeg.so in the Chromium ffmpeg snap package so they don't have to change anything when Opera updates to a new major version of Chromium (as long as the one from the Snap package stays compatible).
