thx for your reply, i guess i learned the hard way to make a decent backup of my favs the hard way lol, pw were still there but have had several times that the sync gave me outdated links or data when changing computers and logging in (have to change pc's all the time) that's why i said we def need a 'sync now' button, then one can assure everything is synced when changing stuff, been using opera for years and the sync didn't really work like in chrome for example, no intention to change to chrome tho lol

@opera-qa-team: I hadn't checked, but doing so now, everything asked for in that top search bar runs on and on, e.g., banana, broccoli crowns and tuna. Safeway's twin, Albertson.com, responds correctly and quickly.

@ultravio1et In settings under appearance, you’ll see a top bar section. At the top of that section is a subtle “manage top bar” that you can click to get to the user i interface section.

For quite some time, and something I've reported before, is that I found the Ctl-F search function to be annoyingly very hit and miss, most often the latter, unless I scroll down and up the page some. The screen often doesn't go to the first instance(s) automatically. Or if it does, especially when the first instance is viewable, then it doesn't move down once those are viewed. I've just had one at https://www.youtube.com/@imperfectheartpodcast7944/videos, where I searched for 'Ziada.' The result shows 1 of 1, but nothing is highlighted. In this case it was episode 52 and his name in the pod title is off screen.

@genegold Same on Chrome and Edge. It seems to happen because the word is hidden.
