Still having issues with the sidebar settings and Easy Setup panel's opening/closing animations. They run in like 15-20 fps.
Besides that, these issues persist even in this version.

You can see the bug in a screenrecording here. -

When are you going to update the chromium version? It's a shame, the leaky 132nd has been in use for the second month already.

This is to follow up camera/mike problem with Opera and doctor appts on Epic (MyChart). Please note that there are no problems with any other video conferences outside that system.
- Check your camera and microphone settings by going to opera://settings/privacy and in "Site Settings".
- Settings have been "to ask"
- Make sure your Logitech Webcam HD C510 drivers are up to date.
- Older Webcam has been up to date for years
- Try clearing Opera's cache and cookies by going to
opera://settings/clearBrowserData.
- Since November, I have cleared cache, history and temp cookies a few times for other reasons. Can't test now because there is no scheduled video appt.
If it doesn't help, please let us know. We will be happy to assist you further!

@deathcat: you need to use the beta version if you want close to latest chromium version. Chrome stable ver=134.0 and their beta/dev version is ahead similar to opera beta/dev etc..
Opera has way fewer employees than Chrome so it pretty normal to be a little bit behind than others. -

@arodi007 I guess it‘s less a problem with the employees but with Opera adding their own UI and their own features. They have to make sure, that nothing breaks when implementing a new version.
See, even Brave and Vivaldi with even less employees are more up to date. At least they have backported the latest security fixes:

Every browser has its own little issues, I suppose. -

@arodi007 said in Opera 117.0.5408.163 Stable update:

But continue releasing dedicated versions instead of concentrating on the flagship browser.

@DerSchlingel Who say Opera must maintain Chromium?
If there were less browsers in development, then the bigger chances the browser is up to date and its features are coordinated with new Chromium updates.
We have 3 browser now Desktop, GX, Air + dead Crypto browser. -

@andrew84 Yes, I understand. Even small Vivaldi team isn’t that much behind.

@deathcat: Hello! The latest Chromium version is always available in the Developer build. Updating to a new version in the stable release takes time because our developers need to integrate Opera’s custom features and ensure everything works smoothly. After that, as a QA team, we rigorously tests each update to check for bugs, security issues, and compatibility with various sites and extensions. This process helps us deliver a stable and reliable experience rather than rushing an update that might cause problems. We appreciate your patience and feedback!

@daria19 On the developer channel, the version of chromium has not been updated for the second month and is stuck on beta version 133, although there is already a final 135. I repeat, instead of breeding dozens of browsers, they should have done one normal one. And you already answered this, about how thoroughly the functions are tested, only there are more and more bugs and it is not clear whether you are on the stable channel or on the beta/dev.
