Personally, I'd also prefer a search popup with more advanced 'search with' feature for search engines. Maybe in cooperation with the sidebar.

*Something similar to removed 'Instant Search' feature but where search result is quickly shown in sidebar panel.

Violentmonkey pop-up doesn't work for me after updating stable Opera.

Instead of displaying the appropriate interface, the (partially visible) inscription is shown:

Similarly, there is a problem with the pop-up from the plugin:

The plug-in interface is not displayed here either.

Whereas the pop-up plugin

I don't have the "Opera AI Prompts" plugin. It appears in the list of extensions of this plugin:

after disabling "Opera AI Prompts", all 3 previously mentioned plugins (more precisely their pop-up in the taskbar) work fine.

You have a bug regression. The following was fixed in version 96.0.4693.50 but is broken again in version 97.0.4719.26:

@leocg: are you using Violentmonkey, Stylus or Dark Reader? Because I had a problem with all of these 3 plugins. And as soon as I turned off "Opera AI Prompts" all 3 worked properly. And that I didn't even have to restart the browser. I mean, for example, Violentmonkey ran scripts on pages, but his pop-up on the toolbar didn't work. Also Dark Reader was setting dark mode on pages but also pop-up was not displaying properly. And so was the problem with the Stylus plugin pop-up. And as soon as I turned off "Opera AI Prompts" right away, literally right away, the pop-ups in all 3 plugins started working properly.

@leocg: I unpacked the new stable Opera portable, installed all 3 plugins I wrote about and... surprisingly they work fine. But in my daily Opera, I enabled "Opera AI Prompts" for a while and again the popups of these plugins stopped working properly. I turned it off again, but this time it didn't work right away, only after a while.
For some unknown reason, in my daily Opera installation, the active Opera AI Prompts plug-in causes pop-ups of these plug-ins to break. If you want, I'll record a video and put it on YT.

@auxce: I have it too but when I turn off the sidebar. With the Opera Menu sidebar active in private mode I have. Without the Opera Menu sidebar, I don't have private mode.
