@leocg In Edge I can simply drag and drop picture or link into collection. And no need to open internal page first and create tiles. That's why it is more complicated in Opera for example (my opinion)

@andrew84 You can send a image to pinboard by right clicking on it.

Since it's a feature still in beta stage, I guess they will add a way to name new pinboards when adding the first item and also a way to add links to pinboard like you can do with images.

@leocg: how is it possible? Beta = not fully stable or finished.
If they continue improving it, it doesn't mean Beta.
SearchTabs or BABE features were reworked many times for example, but there never was 'beta' signature for these features in Stable.

@leocg right click on picture > 'send image to pinboards' doesn't send picture to pinboard actually, it opens pinboards popup where I need to select particular pinboard and click 'add to pinboard' button (4 click instead of the single click in Edge).
I also think that there should be sidebar panel too (like for Bookmarks page full/sidebar view) for the pinboards, I think it's obvious taking into account that they're forcing use of the sidebar. But it won't happen, I guess, because then it will look like plagiarism.

@andrew84 A feature being reworked has nothing to do with that being in a beta stage or not. Stable features can, and many times should, be reworked to (try to) make it better, to adapt it to the needings.

@andrew84 Of course Opera still can't read people mind to know to which pinboard they want to add the image to, therefore the needing of the pop-up asking it.

And I agree that a pinboard panel would be interesting but not sure if it would fit.

@leocg In Edge the list of collectons is visible and it's possible just to drag image/link/text and drop it in the collection you want (pinboard in case of Opera)

Start page sometimes opens not so quickly as it was before.
Noticed since 77.0.4054.146 and the same situation on 77.0.4054.172 also.

I am stuck on Opera's prior version (77.0.4054.146) of Stable here on Chromebook/Linux. No update for 77.0.4054.172 shows as available, yet. Thank you.

@treego Looking on the website, I don't see an ARM version, so yes you're stuck with the prior build.

I wonder if it is because of this now: https://blogs.opera.com/mobile/2021/07/opera-for-chromebooks/

@treego Doubtful, in a sense. Opera for Chromebooks is no help to users with a Raspberry Pi system, for example. Though possibly the ARM developers were otherwise occupied.

The Chromebook version looks nice, but it isn't really a desktop version.
