Again blog posts editing practice.
The original post relates to first 77 Stable version promotion and most of the comments relate to the 77.0.4054.60 version. -

Old bug on opera://about/ is that the relaunch to update shows about 5 to 10 seconds to fast and causes updates to fail.
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

@hectormaciasa1979 This thread is for all Opera 77 Stable releases; there is a separate thread for each release in the Blogs forum as well. Nothing wrong with that.

@hectormaciasa1979 Yep, it's like @sgunhouse said. When I posted it, it was blog post for version .64 and it's changed now for .80 by Opera's peeps. Lately, they also sometimes use the same post for another version, just changing the URL to ...-2 and altering its content.

@olesiak Hi, thank you for your reply. Apparently I posted in the wrong thread, it should have been for Opera 76. I had 7 crashes, at least from what I can see. Not sure if the following will be helpful. Since I have installed Opera 77, I haven't had any crashes.

@eric69 unfortunately in these reports there is no crash ID. Please check if you have enabled
- Automatically send crash reports to Opera
- Help improve Opera by sending feature usage information
in Setting > Privacy and security. It will help us in the future if the crash occurred. Anyway, happy to hear that there are no more crashes for you! Have a nice weekend

@olesiak I had more crashes and I don't know why the reports don't come with an ID because I have enable the report features.

The browser crashes when I click a tab.
The first crash was an out of memory crash, so I simply had to reload the page. The second crash, the whole browser closed. And the Recently closed feature is empty, I can't reopen the tabs that were open. I really don't knw why this is happening and it is annoying.

@eric69 you can also do next steps:
- Set the environmental variable:
On Windows:
Right click My Computer > Properties
- Click Advanced system settings
- Under the Advanced Tab click Environment Variables
- Create a new system variable with the name: OPERA_CRASH_EMAIL and value: your@email
- Click OK
- If you run Opera from the command line, the command line windows need to be restarted.
For OS X

Fix a Tab Recovery option after crush.
I just had a crush after just simply trying to delete cookies, by clicking on the lock of the messenger sidebar app.300+ tabs on multiple Workspaces gone. My last save of the tabs on speed dial is about 1 ½ week old. A notification to bring them automatically back is of curse absent. I cannot even do it by pressing Ctrl+Shift+T, that works on all the other browsers. Now I have to search in my History, find them and manually reopen them one-by-one.
Opera Browser, by format, encourages the users to have multiple Workspaces and Tabs open and pinned at all times, yet it lacks the simple feature of "Closed Tabs Recovery" after a crash, that all the other browsers have.
Please, consider making this and option,
We cannot live with the constant thought, of an eminent crush and loss of all tab progress…
