I wonder why developers have so much opposition to way how was the tab stacks done with old Presto core. What is the poin just do it differently and make lots of issues in process? Just make it same and wrap it around new GUI design. Why do you have to invent the wheel again?
All these issues will be gone simple by make it like (or at least similar) as old Presto:
Moving tabs in/out of stacks
Moving whole stacks
Non-intuitive collapse/expand stacks by different buttons and possition due to changing size of stack
Hard to recognize stacks and what is inside due to just simple color bar
Complicated stack creation without automatic system and lots of unwanted stack without it
Some wired stack behavior randomly moving (and blocking) around the tabs bar
Just look how great it was... just imagine whole thing with new graphic design of course:
