@peak4 Same problem here lost tons of tabs. why did opera released unstable version of browser feels more like Opera Beta than stable release , anyone knows how to fix this? I tried turning off hardware acceleration , reason why tabs might be gone is that opera removed Delay loading of background tab at start up function

Recently there has been an issue when opening Opera browser
(usually after rebooting windows) when all the tabs are gone,
reason for that could be related to memory management issue during start up,
so try extension called Tab Suspender and suspend all tabs before shutting down opera.

Developers still hasn't fixed issues that has been relevant since they moved to chromium engine

if here is anyone working for opera can you tell us when will this be resolved

@namero999 I thought tab islands were the cause of crash but seems like even without it opera looses all the open tabs, white flash issue while loading suspended tabs is still part of Opera even after years of users complaining

@andrewcerberus Opera needs built in session manager with workspace awareness

Opera pop out video - picture in picture video is not a separate windows anymore so it's impossible to record something using OBS window recorder like in Edge or Chrome, is there way to get back pop out video to be separate window again like it used to be?

Opera only shows one window instead of second dedicated windows for pop out

TAB Islands needs to have one displaying tab just like it's shown on picture, and they shouldn't collapse to just one line (as it's shown in red circle)

Session Buddy only sees tabs from active workspace , this was already an issue with TabHamster
is it possible to fix this issue started occurring since Dec 24 on stable version?

@marqm I agree, windows 10 version could be more unstable, nothing insulting here, just saying that this issue might not have any workaround until they fix it, to be honest I'm surpised they have released new update since this report and didn't even fix the main issue

@leocg so people who take their time of the day and post here aren't voicing wider user base's wish regarding to feature to organize tabs? Opera Air was suppose to be organization and simplicity. tab islands should have singular color white or gray

@leocg Interesting, how come Tab Islands is the second most requested feature after Dark Mode? and after dark ambient implementation it's the number 1 most requested feature with 22K views, what is the point of this forum or opera blog if developers spend more time explaining why the feature isn't gonna be implemented than time it would take to integrate a flag to activate a function

@Mlipka Opera GX has flag to activate Tab Islands why don't you just let users do the same with Opera Air

I mean it would take less time to deploy the Flag for tab islands than answering all the users who asked for the feature

• Opera One has already been updated to Update Chromium on master to 141.0.7390.125 so it's strange that flashes remain constant in browser related to - Content area flashes white when changing or re-opening tabs

• Opera GX has flag to enable tab islands, issue with around 24 000 views about tab island is not getting prioritized by the team? how is this possible, just let users enable flag from settings like GX does

And the second most requested function was Tab Islands should we expect Christmas miracle

Opera AIR shipped with major issues that turned off a lot of users, number biggest issue with 40 000 views just on opera forum was Dark Mode number 2 was Tab Islands feature has more than 20 000 views among different threads and sites, how is this not a priority before adding additional features

@Mlipka force dark mode on all pages option is missing, transparent wallpapers on speed dial have white background not gray like in regular opera , active tab is not gray just the icon of a tab turns gray,
