Hi everyone 👋
I’ve recently been testing how different government and public-service verification portals perform across browsers, especially those that are used for identity and tax number validation. One example I’ve been working with is a Chilean RUT verification resource that helps users check records for administrative purposes.
While most similar sites load fine in Opera, I noticed that this specific page isn’t loading at all:
https://rutrutificadr.cl/dicom-o-protestos/
In other browsers it occasionally loads after a delay, but in Opera it either hangs or fails to render. I’m trying to understand whether this might be related to:
script or certificate handling
cache / DNS behavior
ad-blocking or tracker protection
or general compatibility with validation portals
Tools like the Chilean RUT lookup system are widely used for data verification, so browser reliability matters a lot for users who depend on them.
Has anyone else experienced similar loading issues with government or identity-lookup sites in Opera?
Any tips on what settings I should check or test?
Thanks in advance for your insights — would really appreciate the community’s perspective 🙌
