Thank you for this. It had become unchecked. My custom search engines were still working fine, but the defaults weren't. Clicked the box and restarted Opera. All fixed. 😳😅

Looking for any Linux users users Gnome. For the last few months, Opera works for weeks, then some day just stops booting up.

I'm trying to find out if it is Gnome updates causing the update.

I've used Gnome on Arch (CachyOS, Manjaro) and openSUSE. I would think the same issue would be cross distro.

Maybe Gnome is the issue? I'll try another desktop interface to test that.

Now even if I remove Opera, reboot, reinstall, reboot - it still won't boot.

I've use Opera for decades. And don't want to switch if I don't have to.

Hello Opera GX Team,I would like to request that YouTube Music be made available as a native option inside the GX Player sidebar component for users located outside of the United States.Currently, the Player feature only shows YouTube Music for specific regions (like the USA). While I can add it manually as a custom sidebar site panel, this workaround lacks the core functionality of the GX Player. Specifically, custom sidebar panels do not support the automatic pause/play feature that mutes the music when another video or game audio plays in the browser.Please consider expanding the geo-availability of YouTube Music within the native GX Player integration so international users can enjoy seamless audio management.Thank you!

@danielderstolle Thanks Daniel. Good to know I'm not the only one. For now, I've gone back to Firefox but will keep trying Opera until it's fixed. It's silly of them to ignore this as it will drive people to other browsers. Thanks for the reply.
