Strange, i dont see an edit button to edit my post. I wanted to specify that this happened after opera updated to version 100, not sure what version it was before. Updated to version 101 and the problem still persists.

@question Type: chrome://flags/#scrollable-tabstrip in the address bar, and hit the Enter key. Then in the search box type "tabs" and you will find the experimental option to "Enable Tab Scrolling" and then be prompted to re-launch Opera and vwahla! Fixed

@meen-masterp said in Tabs are squished together:
Type: chrome://flags/#scrollable-tabstrip in the address bar, and hit the Enter key.
this redirect to: opera://flags/#scrollable-tabstrip
Then in the search box type "tabs" and you will find the experimental option to "Enable Tab Scrolling" and then be prompted to re-launch Opera and vwahla! Fixed
I have that done before, re-launch Opera, now I see that option as Enabled and it not fix that problem.
I attach a screenshot, again:
as you can see, problem still exist:

Tab scrolling has to be reenabled in Advanced Settings after the latest update, even if it was enabled before and regardless of being set "on" in the /flags.
Settings -> Advanced -> User interface -> Enable tab scrolling when many tabs are open

@whiter1 ReEnabled a flags do nothing. I found a solution !.
Flags not fix, flags show the new settings who need to be set.- opera://flags -> Search and Enable 'scrollable tab strip' -> Relaunch
This will show new option in settings as disable - opera://settings -> Search 'interface' and enable "tab scrolling" -> wait 5sec or Relaunch
️ Done :).
- opera://flags -> Search and Enable 'scrollable tab strip' -> Relaunch
