My tab bar now looks like this monstrosity after this update. Its all squished together. Previously the tabs would be big enough to click on. Its impossible to use in its current state.

How do I fix this?
For about a week now, i have noticed that Opera is restoring an old session, rather than the latest one.
For example, let us say my session has saved a tab with the opera website at https://www.opera.com/. I then go to https://www.opera.com/about and close the browser.
When i next open Opera, instead of restoring my session to https://www.opera.com/about, it restores to https://www.opera.com/ instead, as if i had never gone to https://www.opera.com/about.
I have updated to the latest version which is 86.0.4363.23 as of the time of this post and restarted Opera several times, but the problem still persists, it does not save and restore to my latest session, it is always slightly out of date.
I noticed something interesting when checking my session folder in AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Sessions.
The latest session file has a date modified timestamp which is up to date with my current time. But both tab files have date modified timestamps showing that they are roughly 2 hours out of date. Is this normal?
E.G. Let us say the latest session was saved at 6:40pm. The latest tab file was saved at 4:54pm, which is nearly 2 hours of date.
The older session was saved at 12:35pm, while the older tabs file was saved at 10:56 am.
This is on win 10 with Opera 86.0.4363.23, no extensions other than the opera ad blocker installed.
@leocg Im not sure how thats going to bring back all the tab data that is gone?
@leocg Yes, but the problem is that opera seems to have deleted the tabs file from the profile folder either upon uninstall (despite not choosing to delete browsing data) or upon starting opera for the first time after the reinstall. So as far as opera is concerned, there is nothing to load.
@leocg said in How do i restore my previous session data?:
@question Opera One, Opera GX or Opera Air?
Opera one. The problem is that Opera seems to have deleted the tabs file in the session folder for some reason, even though i specifically chose not to remove profile data...
I had a ton of tabs open, then i closed opera and uninstalled it without selecting to delete my profile data. I then reinstalled opera. But upon startup, opera did not restore my previous tabs. How do i get it to restore my previous tabs?
@agrean : I downgraded to version 99 and disabled the auto update using --disable-update in the target field of the opera shortcut. How do we contact support?
Strange, i dont see an edit button to edit my post. I wanted to specify that this happened after opera updated to version 100, not sure what version it was before. Updated to version 101 and the problem still persists.
