The Aria AI button on the right side now does nothing except open a flyout that reduces my screen size.
A blank flyout by the way, so I can't even do anything with it!
I want the old ARIA back!
I loved that it overlayed the screen!
This is horrible!

RE: Where did my Aria Go?Bugs
@leocg Flyout or whatever it's called from the right side, totally blank. Reduces the screen area. Creates a computed box size of 397 px wide by 100% screen height.
CSS only with no content.
Right clicking that space shows me two options: oddly one of them is for a plug-ing setting and the other is to inspect element (open the developer).
I did disable the plug-in to be sure that wasn't causing it, and it was not.

Correction - New button is on upper right, not upper left as I misstated. -
RE: Where did my Aria Go?Bugs
@leocg
Hi!
I was using Opera that had an Aria button on the left sidebar.
At the bottom of the flyout section for Aria was a link to upgrade to Opera AI.
So I did that.
My Aria on the sidebar disappeared and then the annoying one on the upper left appeared.
After that, I checked to see if I needed updates, and I did.
Then I followed the "news" page you sent me to and there was a download link there, so I downloaded that, which I think was what I already had.
So here is what I have:Opera One(version: 124.0.5705.65)
Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System:Windows 11 64-bit
Chromium version:140.0.7339.249Thanks for your help.

RE: Where did my Aria Go?Bugs
@leocg
I clicked the link at the bottom of my previous Aria in the sidebar that said upgrade.
The article you attached didn't really tell me why the button in the upper right that says Ask AI doesn't work.
Can I go back?
I use Aria multiple times a day.
Thanks,

Where did my Aria Go?Bugs
Hello,
I Updated to Opera AI and now Aria is gone from sidebar.
And the Ask AI thing in upper right corner does nothing.
Please advise.
Can I roll back?

RE: Uni-directional syncing.General
@leocg Thanks for the quick reply. This was my assumption but I wanted to be sure.
They should fix that! Make one the "master" and all the others 'slaves"! Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Thanks,

Uni-directional syncing.General
Hello,
I have Opera on my PC and on my Laptop. I would like for my PC to sync its info to the Laptop, but I don't want the bookmarks and other stuff on my Laptop sync back to my PC.
Is there any way to do this?
I suppose I could clear everything out of the Laptop Opera and manually port over all my PC stuff, but if I turn sync on, which is what I would like to do, then any changes I make on my Laptop version will sync back to my PC, kind of defeating the whole purpose.Thank you for your help.

RE: YouTube video playback has been terrible for the last month or so.Opera for computers
@leocg Thank you for your reply. Windows 10. My PC won't support Windows 11.
However, after making my initial post, I tried turning off "Ambient Mode" in YouTube. That seemed to solve the problem for now. Curiously, the problem with having it on only happen on Opera; Firefox and Chrome seemed to play videos on with it enabled.
Thanks again,

YouTube video playback has been terrible for the last month or so.Opera for computers
The video playback quality of YouTube videos on Opera has been terrible for the last month or so. Low quality with jumpy movement. (Checked against Chrome and Firefox, which are both working just fine.)
Cleared cache and cookies, with no luck.
Any thoughts on what is going on?
Thanks,
Dave
