As Opera for Windows does not properly support Windows' themes, I doubt it ... they will try to make it look moderately close to native in several of the more popular desktops (though I understand the current release only has a Unity style so far), but they are trying to streamline things to have more speed. If support for theming takes too much away from rendering the page, then they'll skip it. (That's what their comments on themes in Windows come down to, so I'm sure it applies here as well.)

Which will disable the initial bookmark import - so should only need to be done once. According to posts elsewhere, this issue happens if Chromium is set as your default browser.

Obviously. At least I don’t see any NPAPI plugins at opera://plugins, just the Flash plugin which is probably the pepper one which I installed manually before.

At some point, "Enable experimental Web Platform features" in opera://flags started causing facebook to scroll up to the top after I shared a post. I've had it turned off ever since. Not the exact same issue you describe, but check to make sure that option isn't turned on.

Only IE and browsers using the IE "trident" engine can use ActiveX - I gather Skype does, at least for ads. No idea how that becomes "opera:xxyyzz" though ...
