Hello. I've been using Opera Next again after a long time and I have a very annoying problem (I am not sure if you will understand my explanation :D): When I scroll down Facebook using pressed middle-mouse button, the scroll keeps returning to the top of the page by itself.

I guess it's not a major bug, but it's terribly annoying. Is there any fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Oh and by the way, my Opera Next version is 22.0.1471.40

Try modern scroll in Opera's extension catalog 😉

I'm not using Facebook that much, but maybe they implemented auto-scrollup as soon as new posts appear...?

It happens just by scrolling? There is (was?) a bug that makes the page reload when you click on a photo, post comments and so on.

Yes, it happens only by scrolling, not clicking anything.

middle button scrolling exclusively? Or does it happen as well if you scroll down via keyboard / mouse wheel?

Only when I scroll using pressed middle-mouse button. When I scroll only using the mouse whell itself, it works without any problems. Keyboard shows no problems aswell.

Well it's definitely not a mouse problem, since it worked without any trouble in other browsers and it works on other websites. It's only Facebook's problem.

At some point, "Enable experimental Web Platform features" in opera://flags started causing facebook to scroll up to the top after I shared a post. I've had it turned off ever since. Not the exact same issue you describe, but check to make sure that option isn't turned on.
