I still have the same problem with the latest version of Opera and Elementary OS. Although I can say that Opera looks pretty damn good on Ubuntu 17.10. But if anyone finds a way to disable the title bar please let me know.

If you are on ubuntu, or an ubuntu based distro, install chromium-codecs-ffmpeg and/or chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra to make opera's support a little better. Plus, facebook and similar sites will switch to html5 playback too.
An equivalent to Tab Mix Plus for Opera?

Actually, it's probaby better to update the properties of the opera icon you use and to target "opera --start-maximized" , doing so you will not be overwritten by product updates or re-installation

You can't because chromium based browsers, opera included, do not allow opening files with an external app in general. E.g. you can not make it open a .doc with ms word directly. You have to save it first and then open it.
Opening the file inside the browser is limited to what the browser can support natively, e.g pdf files, some multimedia ones like mp4 etc.

However, they allow opening different protocol urls with external apps, e.g. magnet:// links will open with a torrent client when clicked, mailto:// ones will open with the email cleint etc.
What&where is the last one version in navigator ?

@jibel That same answer was given to you at least twice before but in both cases you replied in a bad manner, saying that that people couldn't understand a simple question (although it's very hard to understand what you say).
So what were you doing in this topic until now? Trolling? Wasting people's time ?
I think you may need some time to think about it.

I can not access the pandora radio website because I am outside the US, so make sure you have installed
chromium codecs, in case the content is in html5 pepper flash, in case the content is in flash

I have the same problem and use font DejaVu Sans.

Eg, i can't see the korean characters in this post: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands-website/+bug/1614403/comments/66

In firefox (sorry) this works fine with DejaVu Sans. There is also a function called "Show page properties" (or similar) which shows me that the page of the link is encoded in utf-8. Is there a similar function in opera?

Yes, in Windows it is working normally. The problem so far is specific to Linux, where other people have also complained about the same situation, as can be seen here. (https://github.com/operasoftware/chrome-webstore-extension/issues) Apparently it seems to be the extension "Download Chrome Extension" after version 2.3.0 and 2.4.0. I ran several tests and apparently it's the extension.

As an indication, I circumvented this with the CRX "Extension source viewer" and I was able to install the Chrome Web Store extensions normally.

You can find which version comes from where with "apt-cache policy libnss3".
However, both are too old now, because all the working repos of ubuntu (14.04, 16.04 and to 17.10) have 3.28 (2:3.28-whatever), so yes, an update is mandatory for you now.

I also use Opera 45 on Xubuntu 16.04 32 bit. There is no problems with Speed Dial for me. And I'm very disappointed too about the new versions of Opera. This browser is most faster on my slow EeePC. I'm very sad that there is no updates for it.
