I want Ecosia Search to be my default search engine. I initially tried with the extension but this redirects searches to Google,which on occasion I still want access too (both its image and its shop search work far better than Ecosia.) So I then added it manually but search engines added by users can not be set as Default!!

According to a thread from 2014 in the Windows forum this is due to security reasons, with the worry that Extensions might redirect to other sites. As the above shows this is utter bull as extensions can still do it by redirecting the other searches like the current Ecosia extensions does! Please fix this! Otherwise I'll have to go back to Firefox despite the fact it's a bloated memory sink!

As the title says Bandcamp audio will not play. Youtube is fine so html5 streaming is working. From searching the internet it seems this may be a Flash issue. I have tried various solutions to no avail, this seeming to be the most recently (supposedly) working one....

This also happens on other sites, such as sharing news from a newspaper's site. Really very, very annoying when you are trying to type a message and the box with the text in it is moving across the screen!! Does nobody else really have this problem??

Think it was the third party cookies. Tried disabling each thing that may have conflicted in turn and it eventually worked. Weird that it works in Firefox at this website with third party cookies disabled, and it works with Opera on other sites. Anyway I think I can live with leaving it set to accept all cookies...

I just went to share the below GoFundMe page to Facebook. I click on the Share To Facebook button and it opens the share window as expected. What isn't expected is that this window is slowly moving to the right on its own accord! Have closed and re-opened Opera and it happens if I try again.

If when you try clicking the Share button and it doesn't happen your end please let me know what more I can do to assist as obviously something seems not quite right....

Yes I've been using the inbuilt adblocker. I use AdBlock Plus on the other systems, which seems to use the same block lists though. The other systems also have third party cookies disabled and work.

Facebook login just worked on a different site though, after allowing popup (although with the site mentioned above I saw the Authentications popup open and close) so it definitely isn't a systemwide problem.

Title says it all. Same website (only tried one so far) has worked with Firefox on this Ubuntu install, works on my phone and works on Windows based PCs. A little pop-up window (the login window) appears briefly but it does not log me into the website!
