You have something wrong with your install of Opera or you have malware. Opera by default should not be adding new entries to your speed dial every week.
Pages loading with "blocks" of "stuff" obscuring them, often have to reload to get rid of them.

I've had this problem too, usually rectangles of black appearing but also occasionally other images or text appearing where they shouldn't. It's not consistent, I might get it on a page but then revisiting that page later it won't happen.

Seems to be display related as if I flip to another tab and then back to the problem page the problem usually goes away and the problem page is redrawn correctly.

I'm using Opera 33.0.1990.115

I have seen such behavior in some previous developer versions (33-34 something), in new dev (35) haven't noticed. Yet 🙂 Unfortunately no clear pattern, when and where this red underline appears.

I had no idea my McAfee security would miss these.

There is no single application out there that can protect you from all threats. You need to have several different kinds of protection to cover everything. Having just a virus scanner, like McAfee, leaves you open to basically everything that isn't a virus.

What version of Opera are you using, what extensions do you have installed, do you have Opera Turbo enabled, and do you experience the problem with different web browsers on the same computer?

FWIW I am using v 3.0.6 which did not require a license. Just now I tried to upgrade to 3.2 which according to the author can be used without upgrading to pro which requires a license but so far I have not found a way to get 3.2 working. Maybe it's a chrome-opera problem - I haven't figured that out yet.

Saw that thread, now I see this one. And I reckon - as long as you are ABLE to spell "YouTube" correctly it seems - that one was closed right. As well as this one should follow.
Thread's title is a thing one must consider. One thing is if somebody can't spell very well, now it's not the case.

Thanks for checking wimibussard and leocg.

I guess it's just me, but I couldn't figure out how to troubleshoot the issue as it looks to be site-specific.

How could settings/extensions in Opera influence this behavior when it's the same case in Chrome?

Firefox and Edge open tabs in background on http://www.dn.no/ as normal.

I'll just right click and use the menu, no big deal - but strange.

Well opera turbo is good, but as far as I know it does not work with ssl. Which means sites like facebook with a lot of images are eating up my dataplan pretty fast. Unfortunately I could not find any solution and now Im back to v 12... 😞

Another question, in this folder, I only find one installation of Opera. Where would I find the others and old versions data?

Unless you do a stand-alone install, all your Opera installations will share the same profile folder.
