@albano23 You can download the Opera installer, launch it, make sure it says "Accept and upgrade" and upgrade.
Or, if you think your installation is really messed up, download the Opera installer, goto the URL
opera://about
, take note of the "install" path and close Opera. Then, uninstall Opera via Apps in settings in Windows. Do not choose to delete your data when asked. Then, using Windows Explorer (File Explorer), delete the install folder as it will be left behind after the uninstallation.
Then, delete everything in "C:\Windows\temp" and "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\temp" as there will be Opera installer temp files laying around.
Then, launch the Opera installer, click "options", review all the options and install.
That should fix updating.

@burnout426 In my case I saw the normal auto updating process (progress bar) but after restarting the version is remained the same.
So it's visible that some changes were made in old folders on 15.11 but no new folders /files were created regarding the 105 version.
I will try downloading installer later.

@andrew84 That happens to me every once in a while. When I remember to do it, I avoid it by not clicking the relaunch to update Opera button right away. Sometimes it shows too early. You could be running into something else though.

@burnout426 Right now I noticed a fresh topic regarding the same issue.
https://forums.opera.com/post/334023
Maybe this time it is something specific in auto updating procedure. -

@albano23 Hi, due to a renderer issue that we discovered, we have temporarily stopped the auto-update until it is resolved.

@kmielczarczyk Thank you for the information, we are waiting for a satisfactory resolution.

On Linux, it still drags the window when you grab the right edge of the scrollbar instead of scrolling the page.

@kmielczarczyk thanks. Looking forward to this release. Changelog has some things that I've been asking for for a while

@moutarde: I've not tried it, but here's an extension to use instead of Opera's dark mode, which allows customisation and also has a whitelist: https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/extensions/details/custom-dark-mode/

Hi, i dont know where to post a strong idea you could develop on your next releases :
- auto group tabs by theme or by IA requests ....
Use any basic turbo internal IA to automatically sort and group by theme our brower tabs.
This would be an enhancement of your new tab grouping philosophy. A good helper for us having more than 30 tabs opened. Its easy to automatically extract what a tab or his title is about, and so apply a logical thematical sorting action ....
Would be applied automatically, or through a simple IASorting Button, or driven by us, with a sentense we could directly type such as :
"Sort my tabs by chronological order, with the most recent ones on the right."
"Group all tabs related to 'Ginko Biloba' and place them on the far left."
"Organize my tabs into separate groups based on the publication year of the articles."
"Create thematic groups for my tabs, such as 'News,' 'Research,' and 'Entertainment.'"
"Sort tabs by website domain, so all tabs from the same site are together."
"Prioritize tabs from my favorite websites and put them at the top."
"Can you arrange tabs by their level of importance or relevance to my current task : 'programming' ?"
