Ouch! One more
Dear Opera Developers:
Prior to releasing your fix for your Speed Dial issues (i.e., "three dots" and context menu issues), please bring back the ability to customize our Speed Dial tiles. Your next-to-last update included that feature and liked it very much.
Here's what it looked like before Opera 98.0.4759.6: (Nice!)
Thank you!

This is the most buggy release I can remember!
- Express-Menu (Speed-dials):
- Colors (text/background)
- 3 dots (settings) - Not working on Folders and Dials
- Right-Click on Folders and Dials (settings) - Not working too
- "Jumping" O-Menu !!!
Nightmare!!!

Dear Opera Developers:
Suggestion: Please delete the "smiley" from your Speed Dial. From our perspective, it provides no value, makes Opera look less professional, adds unnecessary code, takes up space, and duplicates (to a major extent) an existing menu function (Menu > Help > Report an issue...). Details below.
Further, we see no need to capture "likes or "dislikes" via Opera. You can already see who's happy or not with Opera via Google, Bing, Yandex, and Baidu reviews.
If you don't care to delete the smiley, you can at least replace it with an added menu item titled "Feedback." Details below.
Less is more!
Thank you!

Strangely, some of my SD thumbnails changed appearance with this new version. When I use the "heart" up top to change them back, they don't change. Bug?

@sgrandin: Change is working this morning. However, the range of choices appears no longer to be the same in some cases and an endless list of choices in other cases. In the former situation, I've yet to find one existing thumbnail, other than the generic ones, that I can replicate.

I agree with Generous. The smiley is unnecessary and the SD has been pushed down the page apparently because of it. My SD page is long enough without wasting space up top.

High CVE-2023-2136 ? https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2023/04/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_18.html
That one, should get a much higher and faster fix priority. " Google is aware that an exploit for CVE-2023-2136 exists in the wild. "
The speed dial issues are terrible as even the scroll option don't work as intended, but I sent a bug report on that specific. Right click on saved speed dials is borked since this version.

@leonhardttobias: Agree with ya. Yep, we really liked Opera and may still give it a chance to shine (i.e., fix all major issues pronto). If Opera 99 "Stable" ends up carrying the same or similar issues, we'll definitely scrap it and stop praising it amongst peers. We will switch to Google Chrome or MS Edge (it's 20-30% faster than Opera when using Windows 10 or 11). Another thing to consider is that many website are still not 100% compatible with Opera. Not sure why, but it's a fact. Cheers.

@korol78: Rolling back is not going to help. If you do, Opera will automatically update itself. Cheers!
downloaded version 97 - installed it and disabled the update in the task scheduler, and opera is not updated to version 98, that's how simple it is
