@alexeygrinko: They never got it right, Opera's had problems in this regard for at least 10 years. They still can't fix the weird behaviour of the "search for updates" button, which searches for updates on its own and then enables it so you can do it again, just to get the same result.
Don't waste your time about this.

@l33t4opera: what a lame response. Are they going to implement such automatism only once they have a large Linux User base? Hope not. They already fall short in some areas like libffmpeg...

With the current build and perhaps the one before it, I'm not sure of the dates, I've been getting a site crash or two every day. Various sites, the last one just now being at eBay. The page opens, then all of a sudden there's a message that it crashed. Never happened before)
Here's an example just now. Page loaded, then a few seconds later switched. (I'm not seeing the screenshot I uploaded here, so it's if it's not here, it can be seen at https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqsCKHVTj0ydqUjRMlHyVebTk5SB?e=PcGCEV

You ever tought of making the overlay scrollbar go into contrast mode or negative? thing is when you have a dark background is almost, well practically impossible to see it.
Like in the Speed Dial page for example. Set a dark picture, enable overlay scroll bar, scroll down in the news. Try to find the bar.
Do something.

fix the tabs strip behavior described here https://forums.opera.com/post/269635
I checked the same in Edge/Chrome and there it works correctly.
All channels affected. -

Version 82.0.4227.23, Extremely slow on facebook, typing comments is pretty much impossible, I also noticed that no matter how many times I check boxes "don't ask me again" for any alert, Opera never remembers and always ask me again.

@scyllo Have you tried using RegisterFirefoxPortable. You can use this for Opera installed or portable.
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/register-firefox-portable-with-default-programs'
for example to make launcher.exe install (as) the default browser.
The description in Default Apps/Programs in Windows will say "Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition", but you can change that by editing it inHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\StartMenuInternet\FirefoxPortable\Capabilities" in the registry.

@opera-comments-bot Hi there. I'm using the current version of Opera stable and noticed that my browsing has changed, for the worse. I usually open several tabs and when I close one of these, keeping the mouse stopped near the tab's close button, in previous versions of Opera, the next tab was "squeezed" so that the tab's close button was under the mouse cursor. This was great as it made my browsing easier. In this new version this feature no longer exists and when I close a tab all the others adjust to be in a standard size that fits in the browser's tab bar and this is horrible as the close button no longer is near the mouse cursor. How do I get the old behavior back?

@yro It's just a bug. It's not staying that way. Hopefully an update will be out soon to fix it.
