Opera crashes, when I tray to open a new, private window.
After the third try Opera disables all my extensions.
When I want to enable them again, Opera crashes again with each extension.
Really not good!
For the moment I have to go back to the last version.

@ralf-brinkmann No crash here. Same OS, regular Opera installation.

@ralf-brinkmann In the first case, the tab on the far right would be the last active one, so I don't see what would be wrong. Unless I'm missing something.

@ralf-brinkmann Also on the first case: I opened a link from this page, so the new tab would open next to this one. Then I went to that new tab and from there I opened i new empty tab, which as opened in the far right.
I searched for something in that tab then I closed it. Opera correctly turned to the last active tab. -

I don't use any sidebar. But I can try that out. Tomorrow.
Edit: I was curious. Indeed, with this flag disabled it does not crash anymore. Thanks!

I can only say that I have these crashes in this version. I have tried several times. No crash in the last version 66.0.3489.0. Sorry.

No. I open a new tab (ctrl-t). I opens on the far right. I type something into the address bar, for example a part of any of my speed dials. The page is opened in this tab.
Now I go again into the address bar (ctrl-l) and open another page the same way. It's still the same tab. Then I close this tab. Opera now shows me the tab on the far right. But the last active tab was my Facebook tab somewhere in the middle of all open tabs. -

@ralf-brinkmann Okay, this way it seems that I could reproduce it. Seems to be related to the reuse of the tab, don't know.

users from Russia can not disable news advertising from Yandex Zen located on the Speed Dial immediately below the search bar.
Only disabling the flag helps:
opera://flags/#yandex-zen-news
or change the country in the
Local State

I don't know the main source of program (most possibly ublock origin) but ublock origin crashes latest opera dev build (66.0.3494.0).

Also experiencing crashes with uBlock Origin. I really love Opera but I cannot browse without uBlock Origin especially as Opera's built in ad-blocker does not get around "We Noticed your'e UsIng an AdBlocker". Will revert to Chrome until fixed.

@deluxive: Thanks a million. This solved my own crashing problem. It also allowed me to play Amazon videos again without having the darn sidebar open all the time.
