@AlexeyGrinko
I was able to play the bug:
Launch Opera, open several tabs, and pin them down.
Closing Opera.
We run Opera and all tabs are still fixed.
Once again we restart Opera and all attached tabs become detached.

@andrew84: Quick Access feature is temporarily disabled in the new address bar drop down.
Address bar drop down is the key feature of every browser, thus we need to do refactor and redesign step by step.
Apparently Quick Access after release in stable version some time ago was used by fraction number of users. Despite that we decided to keep it for Developer users.
Today we need to make this step of releasing Address Bar Dropdown in current state and continue to work on it. -

@kmielczarczyk: Thank you for the info.
I really hope that this is a really temporary disabling (but I doubt because the flag is also removed). I liked that feature (moreover it was switchable off if somebody don't like) and it was something that other browsers don't have. And as I mentioned earlier the old dropdown is more funtional because of search engines choice at the bottom.
*One thing I didn't understand is how you gathered the statistics of using this feature? Is there some kind of telemetry is used to track my clicks on address bar/ to track toggles state in Setting? -

@AlexeyGrinko Pinned tabs were being remembered between sessions before? If I remember correctly, pinned tabs in Opera have always been limited to the current session.
-

@leocg: It always has been - pinned tabs always remained pinned. If parameter "Retain tabs from previous session" is "on" - along with pinned tabs, other open tabs were also open. And not only in current session! This worked even after restarting the computer!
This is REAL BUG !!! Please fix it !!! -

@AlexeyGrinko I checked for Opera Developer 65.0.3466.0 but it 's OK - bookmarks stay in the fixed position after the browser restart.

@AlexeyGrinko So even with that option enabled, pinned tabs aren't remembered?

After first closing Opera - yes, pipped tabs - remembered. After second closing - yes, but unpinned!

@alexeygrinko: Yes, I've encountered this as well. Also, broken speed dial colors and the news not displayed correctly. I downgraded to wait for all the bugs to be fixed. Every major opera release has become a disaster.

@AlexeyGrinko What was the behavior before? For me, pinned tabs weren't remembered between sessions.

If opera adds the translation feature of the page and the speed of access to sites (we suffer from less loading the page, especially compared to Chrome). I'll stop using Chrome.

@AlexeyGrinko You can right click on one of pinned tabs, and select "close other tabs" - all not pinned tabs should be closed. After that, when you close the Opera, and launch it again, there should be only pinned tabs retained. If you don't want to see also the Speed Dial page, then uncheck "Display the start page first" under "Retain tabs from previous session".

@Kertz It's already uploaded in the repo, so you can try to update it again - after you do apt update of course. If it still doesn't work, or you can't access the repo for some reasons, you can try to download it from the ftp servers here.

Cold startup:
Very, very, very slow loading Speed Dial. Almost 1 min I look on white page. Also, sometimes background picture not load properly. -

Been posting this in the last 4 iterations of Opera (I am running O64.0.3417.54 now)::
"Opera 62.0.3331.116 interminably slow on opening first time in the morning, taking close to 25 seconds before Speed Dial icons appear. This behavior has been displayed for the past few iterations of stable Opera. In addition, when viewing a web page and then clicking on the Speed Dial icon (4 little squares) upper left corner, the appearance of the Speed Dial home page is delayed also. PLEASE fix this."
