@burnout426 Eventually, I found out, that the problem is not associated with Opera but as you said, it only turned out when I used it. It's a problem with DNS resolving, indeed, but it was happening with Firefox or Brave as well.

My ISP advised me to make a complete reset, so I'll hope that the issues are gone now. Thank you for you help, nevertheless. You're advice is very welcome.

@slim54 Browser Assistant is not necessary, Opera can run fine without it.

@Jouron , while Claude has some excellent features but currently on its doc portal say the browser extension is not yet supported on other Chromium-based browsers.

And isn't about just youtube..it happens in every site that offers notification in the browser

Opera shows the Google AI Overview because it’s a feature coming from Google Search itself, not the browser. Since Opera uses Google as the default search engine, the AI summary automatically appears at the top of some results. Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct setting in Opera to remove it. The only practical options are to change your search engine (for example to DuckDuckGo or another provider), use browser extensions that filter AI results, or add parameters like &udm=14 to Google searches to force classic results. Otherwise, the AI Overview will continue to appear because it’s controlled by Google’s search interface rather than Opera...

Pretty much a must nowadays, and has a few other features that help browsing the internet.

Тоже раздражает эта фигня с белой вспышкой при открытии новой вкладки. У меня уже рефлекс закрытия глаз при этом действии и не открываю, пока белый cstn не исчезнет. Разработчикам Оперы стоило бы сделать эту вспышку хотя бы черным цветом, хотя вряд ли это возможно, иначе уже починили бы.
