@chawoobie Besides a lot of sites not supporting Opera in general, a lot of sites do not support (and will warn you or deny you) any Chromium-based browser that is using too old of a Chromium version compared to Chrome Stable. Opera Stable is using Chromium 128 and Chrome Stable is using Chromium 130. So, that might be the issue for some of your cases.
Either way, having Opera pretend to be Chrome Stable like mentioned in this post can help.

@chawoobie: Thank you for sharing your experience. While Opera is built on Chromium, which many websites support, there are cases where some sites may not fully recognize or optimize for all Chromium-based browsers.
To better understand the issue, could you please provide us with a list of the sites where you're encountering these problems? In the meantime, you can try using the workaround suggested earlier if you're comfortable with it, while we look further into this compatibility issue. -

Why is the current stable release of Opera not listed on the FTP-Server under "https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/"?
There is only 114.0.5282.94, but 114.0.5282.102 is the current one.Also wanted to mention 2 other things...
1.) If you create a group on the speed-dial-page and there are multiple pages in that group, you get a hover-magnifying-effect over the speed-dial-thumbnail (like outside of that group). But if you hover over the most right one in that group, it starts to break the layout and gets bigger for all thumbnails in it. It's kind of distracting.
2.) In German translation when editing a speed-dial-thumbnail, there is a misspelling for "Benutzerdefiniertes Bild festlegen". It's misspelled with "fesfilegen".

There is only 114.0.5282.94, but 114.0.5282.102 is the current one.The latter is there. It's a bit above 114.0.5282.94 due to the page using just simple alphabetic sorting.

@daria19: PNCbank.com
Charles Schwab
Sometimes xfinity.comI have tried using user agent switchers, but lately even those don't solve the problem!

@steeveboy: Hello, and thank you for your comment! Regarding the FTP server issue, I agree with the previous response—the builds are indeed available, just organized differently. As for the two bugs you mentioned: the typo in the German language has been reported under DNA-112048. Unfortunately, it hasn't been addressed yet due to other higher-priority tasks. Regarding the UI hover effect for Speed Dial, we will look into this further. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

hCaptcha is having problems with this build of Opera, or maybe Opera generally. Today at https://shop.acousticsciences.com/, a captcha of a type I hadn't seen before kept returning "incorrect" to correct answers. The strange thing is that Edge, FF, Chrome and Vivaldi didn't bring up hCatpcha at all, but went straight from the username/pw to my account page, even though I'd never used those browsers with that site. I also ran into a problem with hCaptcha going through the same process going to my account at paracable.com', Except there it agreed that I had completed the two captchas correctly and sent me a code. However, the code just led back to another two. Getting those correct finally took me into my account order page. I find it hard to believe it was built that way. In any case, I reported it the Acoustic Sciences site and also had an exchange with hCaptcha support. After claiming I was using a VPN -- I wasn't -- they said it would be forwarded to the "relevant team," But now they're saying to use another browser.
Here is a OneDrive link to a sequence of screenshots showing an example of what I went through at the Acoustic Sciences site: https://1drv.ms/f/c/9d4c8f53752802ab/EpIM1d-s3aJPq9CGuRoXnHQBrj4-lagdXQ_hE65rhQt2FA?e=o4BESf

@genegold: Thank you for your detailed feedback! We understand the difficulties you're experiencing with hCaptcha on certain websites in Opera. It's helpful that you've already reported the issue to both the site and hCaptcha support. We’ll investigate these compatibility concerns to ensure a smoother experience in future updates. Your input is valuable, and we appreciate your patience while we work on improvements!

@daria19: I'm still having trouble with PNC bank. User-agents switchers all seem to have outdated user-agent strings, so they don't seem to work. I can use Firefox browser with no problem - it has a different user-agent string. Question: is it an Opera issue - needing to modify its default user-agent string, or is it a PNC bank issue - needing to recognize the Opera string as legitimate? Or is it a more complicated isssue?

@chawoobie: I spoke too soon. Still can't log into PNC bank with Opera. I have to use a different browser.
