When you click on the icon to upload a image to the forum, Opera crashes. Anyone else with that issue?

I'm on Windows 11 for the matter.

@leocg: Really. Works, but not always. You can see the function is not refined because the pop-up does not always appear.

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

I was just on www.fotocommunity.de and wanted to upload a photo. After click on the upload button Opera crashed and then restarted. After the second crash Opera disabled all my extensions. Not good!

I have crashes also on uploading sites when the feature is enabled.

@ralf-brinkmann I guess you also have the clipboard pop up feature enabled in Settings. The feature seems to be broken.

@andrew84: What is the clipboard pop up in German? I did not enable anything manually in the new version. I'm now back in the previous version. I don't like crashes.

@leocg I can confirm the crash also. And, no crash when it's disabled.

I really hate that the feature is enabled by default. It's been buggy and crashy since its introduction. It should not be on by default. (Not just because of the crash in this build though.)

I was unable to reproduce this crash in dev. 82.0.4218.0 on a clean profile in Win 7x64. However, I agree that this feature is problematic, I've seen numerous complaints about freezes and problems on various configurations on this forum and others. For me personally, this function is simply inconvenient.

By the way, the feature was introduced as 'Easy Files'.
I think it should have a separate toggle (+description what the feature does) section in Settings instead of the among others hidden toggle in the user interface section,

@leocg Same here personally. But, too many users have reported problems with it (mostly crashes or breakage of uploading that are fixed when turning the feature off).

P.S. Yeah, i'm using Opera Sync.
P.P.S. Resetting is not the best option as the extensions are out of sync and have to be installed manually.
