@andrew84 From your logs you previously posted, it was found that:

• Neither Chrome or Opera can use D3D11VideoDecoder to decode h.264 on that system.

• Chrome uses FFmpeg to decode H.264 in software while Opera uses the Windows Media Foundation decoder.

• Opera ends up being less efficient in this case, either because the Media Foundation decoder is less efficient than FFmpeg, or there's something sub-optimal about the way Opera uses the Media Foundation, or both.

Nothing more to report than that though.

Browser craches when i try to delete or edit bookmark.

I mean that opera devs could report it to chromium.

@indiqazzz I couldn't reproduce the problem editing or deleting a bookmark in the panel or via the bookmarks toolbar or the opera://bookmarks page.

Start with a new Opera profile. Or, close down Opera and delete the Bookmark and BookmarkExtras files in the profile folder.

You could export your bookmarks and reimport them to see if that's enough to fix things.

Are you using Opera Sync though? If so, you might have to reset your data at sync.opera.com in addition to starting with a new profile.

@andrew84 If Chromium (not any of Opera's modifications or use of WMF) is doing something wrong (different than what it used to do), you can file a report yourself at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list to get the ball rolling. Just click "new". You'll have to be very detailed about the probably system and versions of Chromium Opera is using that you're comparing and provide all the logs etc.

Once you have that, maybe an Opera dev can comment on the bug.

For me, on YouTube, automatic disconnection of the video does not work.

@jojo0587 I think this is a visual bug in this case. There should be a column instead of rows, like previously.
*But I agree there should be more categories, like in Chrome or Edge

Here it works. But if I manually detach a video, it'll stop working. To make it work again is need to reopen the video in new tab.

@andrew84: I ran a fresh install of portable Opera Developer and it didn't work. Video disconnection is enabled by default, but manual. I was looking for an auto-disconnect option - did not find it.

@jojo0587 It works here, at least on YouTube. When you change to another tab, video pop-up appears on the bottom right of the screen.

It doesn't seem to work when you open a new tab, you need to go back to the YouTube tab and then return to the newly opened tab for the video pop-out to show up.

When you click on the icon to upload a image to the forum, Opera crashes. Anyone else with that issue?

I'm on Windows 11 for the matter.

I was just on www.fotocommunity.de and wanted to upload a photo. After click on the upload button Opera crashed and then restarted. After the second crash Opera disabled all my extensions. Not good!

I have crashes also on uploading sites when the feature is enabled.
