Poor build, especially for the whole version change. Traditionally we will see all the unfixed issues in Beta.
-
Still no fixes for the settings dropdowns on Settings page and incorrect blue state for default flags on Experiments page.
All Internals pages open with a white full screen flashes in dark mode.

Also there's a white flash during the browser start and some tiles have wrong thumbnails
https://forums.opera.com/post/201335
https://forums.opera.com/post/201161 -
domains are still cut in the sidebar's bookmarks panel (on all channels)
-
I did not get any feedback why switching the empty workspaces create an additional speed dial tab (with closing cross 'x')
https://forums.opera.com/post/201483 -
Multiple tabs closing warning poupp still flicker white and the closing cross is still red after clicking 'cancel' on the popup
https://forums.opera.com/post/198271 -
Expanded OMenu's position is still incorrect

When will the frequent "no answer" in a stable channel be fixed? In addition, my synchronization has broken.
My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

The fact that you removed the "recently closed tabs" button and replaced it with the "search in tabs" feature doesn't make sense in my opinion.
I know, you moved it to the side bar. However, when I enable the setting "History: Open Full page" in the side bar settings, I can not see the "recently closed tabs" anymore, just the history. Furthermore the history will be opened in a new tab. Not quite what the user wants.
In my point of view, the "search in tabs" feature is something for power users with more than 100 open tabs and not for "normal" users. Why should a user with ca. 10 open tabs search for key words? I assume that the "recently closed tabs" feature is far more often used for everyday browsing than "searching in tabs". Why place "the search in tabs" feature so blatently then? -

I'm really looking forward to finally having web notifications work in Opera. Tell me in this version did not fix the situation with broken notifications?to

Nicely looking popups borders are still not applied to dropdowns and menus/context menus.

I have again the problem, that I can not get a contact to www.nikon.de. ("The website cannot be reached"). No problem with other browsers.

@ralf-brinkmann: It also can't connect in Edge (Canary, that is also based on 82. Chromium)

@andrew84 I have the Version 80.0.361.66 (Offizielles Build) (64-Bit) of Edge.

@ralf-brinkmann: Ok, but in the latest Edge Canary build (82.0.449.0) the site is also doesn't open. Probably the issue is Chromium related again.

@ralf-brinkmann: just install some user-agent manager extension, and switch user agent to fresh version of Google Chrome.

@netwiper I Have tried out a lot of possibilities for other browsers in my user agent switcher, but nothing did help.

Confirmed. User-agent spoofing doesn't help either.

It's working now. All I did was disable
chrome://flags/#post-quantum-cecpq2
and restart. Then it started working. But, put that back to default and the site still works, so might just be coincidence. Or, maybe it's not coincidence and something with the cert got accepted and then it was fine. -

Exactly the same behavior is in Edge.

@Alphablake I don't understand what this flag does and I don't know how you found that out - but this trick works. Freaky!

Where is the recently closed tabs button? it's missing from the last build and this one as well? Is there an option to activated if's disabled?
