      @chas4: Thank you, I tried just now but unfortunately it doesn't change anything.
      Following a suggestion by "leocg", I installed Opera Developer and there it works fine, as it works fine with IE, Firefox, Chrome and Maxthon. Only Opera does'nt perform correctly

        @leocg: Yes, you're right: I downloaded and installed Opera Developer and it works just like Chrome, that is, displaying a flash of the page, then suddenly disappearing and after a while presenting the page correctly.
        I cannot understand why, but maybe I'll currently use Developer, waiting for better times...
        Thank you for the suggestion.

              Since Opera 66 a tab opened via instant search is placed beside the active tab instead of right from the last open tab. Is that intentional?

                @kmielczarczyk jest problem z odtwarzaniem serwisów VOD od wersji 66 pod systemem Linux.

                System: Ubuntu 18.04.x LTS

                https://zapodaj.net/2410f60fdc11c.png.html

                Oprócz tego ciągle macie złe wpisy w pliku: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera/resources/widevine_config.json

                Jest tak:
                {
                "preload" : "/opt/google/chrome/libwidevinecdm.so",
                },
                {
                "preload" : "/opt/google/chrome-beta/libwidevinecdm.so",
                },
                {
                "preload" : "/opt/google/chrome-unstable/libwidevinecdm.so",
                }
                ]

                A powinno być:

                [
                {
                "preload" : "/opt/google/chrome/WidevineCdm/_platform_specific/linux_x64/libwidevinecdm.so"
                },
                {
                "preload" : "/opt/google/chrome-beta/WidevineCdm/_platform_specific/linux_x64/libwidevinecdm.so"
                },
                {
                "preload" : "/opt/google/chrome-unstable/WidevineCdm/_platform_specific/linux_x64/libwidevinecdm.so"
                }
                ]

                Trzeb go edytować, bo ścieżki dostępowe do plików w Chrome się pozmieniały, ale tym razem nic to nie zmienia.

                Serwisy Netflix, HBO GO wymagajace Widevine nie działają, bo zgłaszają jego brak chociaż występuje w systemie:

                https://zapodaj.net/cf741a45e3f5b.png.html

                Zróbcie coś z tym, bo nie idzie oglądać chronionych treści.

                    @bancor: I just tried the site in Opera (stable) and it loaded fine, if you go to opera://about/ see if there is an update.

                    I am guessing you have a corrupted cache or might be an extension breaking the site

                          The new sidebar is too restrictive and breaking some sidebar extensions.
                          "window.close()" doesn't work with it.
                          It doesn't seem to respect tab.update's tab focusing.

                          For now disable this flag if your sidebar extension is not behaving right:
                          opera://flags/#sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar

                            @iron2000: Thank you very much! This re-enabled the sidebar being a real sidebar instead of some rubbish popup window!

                            Now video-popout function needs to be fixed and we are on a good way again.

                              I think you should make the dark search box on start page while in dark mode (especially, it was shown in you reborn3 promotional video). Also, the expanded dropdown should have shadowed edges.

                                Widewine does not work anymore on Linux. It was ok i the version 65 but not more in 66

                                    Thank you for trying to help but unfortunately that does not work. For some time now on Linux, Opera's widevine_config.json has had to be edited to point to the correct location of libwidevinecdm.so installed on the system. This has worked up until 66.0.3515.27 now it does not seem to be able to detect that widevine is already installed or be able to install / update widevine itself.

                                    I have submitted a bug report about this issue here but have not heard back.

                                    I am using Solus. I have seen other users mention the problem with newer releases occurring on Arch, Opensuse and Ubuntu. Hopefully something can be done to resolve this in the next release.
