  @burnout426 okay so that makes sense that it got review bombs because of ads being within an ad blocker. However I am a total AV paid customer and I have never seen ads. Thank you for the work around I will give it a shot.

  Goto the URL opera://extensions and see if you have any funny extensions installed. There is some malware going around that installs an extension that hijacks Chromium-based browsers.

  The free version of Malwarebytes usually gets rid of the extension and the malware that keeps reinstalling it.

  Seems to be working fine for me. I have test1 and test2 folders on my bookmarks bar. I goto a site, click the heart icon and select the test2 bookmarks bar folder. Then, I goto another site and click the heart icon and test2 is already selected by default.

  If I then bookmark another page to test1, and then bookmark yet another page, it does in test1 automatically.

  I'm having trouble reproducing the issue with Opera GX 92.0.4561.55 64-bit on Windows 11 Version 22H2 (Build 22621.819).

  When Opera GX is open, you can goto the URL opera://about to see where it's installed and where its profile folder is at. You can then close Opera and delete the install and profile folder (backing up the profile folder first if you want to keep your data).
