when i middle click on the tab bar to add a tab, it doesn't work. when i try to drag links and images to the tab bar to open them, it doesn't work. pls help

so on my opera browser, tabs randomly move the to the far left of the tab bar
i looked in the settings but there's no option to disable it

i've had this problem once and i'm getting it again

for some reason, whenever i try to middle click to open or close a tab, it takes an unneccesary amount of middle clicks to process and execute the command. this issue can constantly stop and happen over and over.

for some reason, when i try to install any extension from the chrome web store, it says this:

i've tried the solutions from https://forums.opera.com/topic/39918/how-to-solve-the-trouble-of-download-interrupted-error-network-error and https://forums.opera.com/topic/22600/i-have-download-chrome-extension-add-on-but-i-still-can-t-download-chrome-extensions , but nothing has worked.

so earlier my opera gx suddenly stopped working
i tried reinstalling it, it didn't work
i restarted my computer, no dice

before my opera gx got updated, middle clicking on a tab would not close it until released. after the update, the second you middle click a tab, it instantly closes.

is this due to the update? if so, how do i remove the feature?

i have the numlock status off (off means the numpad shouldnt work) but the numpad still works on opera gx. i tried on other programs and numlock applies there.
