I recently switched to using Mac from Windows, continuing to use my favorite browser Opera on Mac. I use mouse gestures (right-click and drag pattern) heavily.

One absolutely annoying bug I find on Opera on Mac is that very often the (wrong) action gets performed before the gesture is completed. Specifically -
New Tab gesture: Downward motion (like the letter I)
Close Tab gesture: Down-Right motion (like the letter L)

When I am trying to close a tab by drawing L, as soon as I start drawing the L, it opens up a new tab thinking I am drawing an "I" before I even release the right-click button. This happens very often but sometimes it works.
Any fixes for this?

If I click a mail link then the current tab card will be replaced by Gmail. In the system settings, I have set Thunderbird as the default mail client.

I am surprised there is no option to delete browsing history when you close Opera. Seems like it would be simple to integrate.

@tiktok-kilibs First you make sure you are using Opera GX, since the feature is only available in Opera GX.

Then you click on GX Control button in sidebar.

@antony1964 I'm having the same issue (I think). I have ads turned off and also this option "Receive promotional Speed Dials, bookmarks and campaigns". Yet, I keep getting a website inserted into my speed dial. Ads ands suggestions are turned off for my speed dial page. This has happened about 2-3 times lately.

Hello @oogla,
I just upgraded from version: 108.0.5067.29 to version 109.0.5097.68 and have not noticed the issue returning. But since the problem originally began I have added the extension "Forget Button" and set it to clear a lot whenever Opera is closed.
