white screen on Opera one/air at startup. After the most recent update 3/4/26 when opera one & Air start / load from closed there is a 2 to 3 second delay when a white screen shows then loads into mu normal startup screen. Yes I have done all of the suggested "before you post fixes" even trialling a fresh Opera One/Air install on a win 10 and win 7 PC without a prior instal. No sync nor extensions imports, nothing, a clean install, same problem that I have never seen with Opera in 10 + years. Clearly not a 1x PC specific issue an update bug.

@burnout426 - Thank you for your responses and explanations. I definitely had a different model for what Workspaces were. It's a little weird that when I create a new workspace in a given window, it appears in all my windows (existing and new). I think that's what made me think workspaces were shared across windows.

It is helpful to have method to insure all windows, workspaces, and tabs are retained. I won't be closing any individual Opera windows unless I'm okay with losing all the tabs/workspaces associated with the window.

So i run a 50" Tv screen and when i click on a up coming game to see the details the X to close the screen is
way up in the Right hand corner. Could you move that X to the Right hand corner on the top part of the Game that I'm looking at?

Iv Included a screen shot to show where I'm talking about.
Move the X.png

It would be more convenient for us that are running Bigger Screens.

@Born-in-Gva I don't know anyone who only has one browser installed on their device. Even my cell phone has like 5 different browsers on it.

Opera works great on 99.9% of websites. On the rest, I use a different browser. It doesn't mean you have to use that browser all the time, just when you log in to certain sites. You do not have to swear allegiance to those browsers. Just log in to your bank, do your business and log out and go back to your default browser.

I have this issue with my insurance company. I also have or had this problem with logging into the web UI for some of my newer surveillance cameras which is infuriating.

I also used to have another need to temporarily use Safari browser when I wanted to use ApplePay. That's no longer required but it used to be.

No worries, it can be a bit confusing! In Opera’s settings under Block Ads > Manage Lists > Other Lists, turning the Malware Block switch ON will actually enable the malware protection feature, helping to block harmful sites. So if you want that extra layer of security, keep the switch ON!
