The topic was closed for being a duplicate and also an informative/tutorial-like one, so no need to keep it opened for discussion.

Regarding the ban, the use of caps menas that the person is shouting and it violates rule number 6.

The button was temporarily removed as the option to upload your own avatars was not permitted on this forum anyway, for security reasons (so the button was misleading and promising something that did not work).

On the help page - https://forums.opera.com/help - the very first item explains that Gravatar is the source of user pictures here. Which is what majority of people use, I think.

[UPDATE]
The ability to upload your own avatars was re-enabled.

A topic will be locked if it is resolved, or if the nature of the subject is likely to attract undesirable posts, or things like that.

Given that the original poster can only modify a topic within 30 minutes of posting, it is safe to assume that a moderator or Opera employee is the one who locked that topic.

A locked topic can still be read, but regular users can't make new comments.

@leocg The Stable still doesnt do right

but i can now sign in to opera forum in Regular Mode And Or Private Mode with Opera Dev Portable 64 bit v66.0.3487.0

i guess when The stable catches up to chrome version 79 it will work right..
