@sgunhouse I wasn't talking about My Flow communicating with/through Sync, I was talking about My Flow toggle button not being stored as part of Settings within Sync feature. If you install Opera on one computer and flip My Flow to OFF, install Opera on another system and Sync it with first one, My Flow will remain enabled on second system despite being disabled on the first one.
I know it's 3 month old topic, but, Opera sync used to work like a charm, I had all passwords from all devices, but last several months, my passwords do not sync accross devices. I used to login to a site from home, then go to work and login using the saved credentials... Now, no passwords sync. The only time it really synced lately, was when I reset the sync, which started syncing the "reset", meaning, each device that connected after the sync reset, "synced" and deleted the local data as well. letting me with a manual encripted couple months old backup.
The other issue is that it keeps syncing my open tabs from home to work (not the opposite) despite of me having tab sync OFF in ALL devices!!!
How does it relates to synchronization? By the way, you can already password protect your synced data.
To avoid people having access to Opera and any other software or data in your computer, just use a password to login into your OS and add users for others to use it when needed.
Password or pass-phrase? The password is usually the same you use at this forum, unless you se a different username for sync.
For pass-phrase, the only way to change it, if you don't remember the old one, is by resetting the synced data.
