@doctorowl Geolocation is only one of the ways for a site to know your location.

Most probably the site is using your IP to find out your location.
Missing search suggestions for DuckDuckGo and other search engines

@gregono It is a Duckduckgo 'privacy' challenge!
I think they don't have the server set-up that Google can afford, so limit what they send to conserve bandwidth.

@paolazelli It depends. The gif can be html5 animation, which is a series of images.

I have no problem downloading gifs.

I know only enough to say quite often it is a Google or Android Webview problem.
Opera never changes their coding to make life difficult!
