There is no way to do it automatically as far as I know.

@btcbtc How are you trying to connect the phones? You need to go to menu > settings > synchronization and backup > Connect Device in one phone and, in the other, you go to www.opera.com/connect. Then you se the first phone to scan the QR code that will show up in the second one. If everything is fine, you will see the same number on both devices and will click on the button that says that the numbers match.
