Open Settings (Alt+P).
Under Privacy and Security, select Delete browsing data and click the On exit section.
Choose the data you want to have deleted every time you exit Opera.
Click Save
Yes! Opera has introduced a similar "On exit" tab in Settings. You can delete browsing history, download history, cookies and other site data, cached images and files, passwords and other sign-in data, autofill form data, site settings, and hosted app data.

Both Arc and Zen browser allow separate profiles, with each profile allowing multiple workspaces and then again, each workspace has it's own bookmarks. Would love Opera to have the same as the stability of Opera seems better.
@Rafferty3231 You aren't an idiot. This is shitty design. It's literally a key right next to the backspace button that closes all of your tabs without warning, and for some reason it's enabled by default. I just lost about an hour of my time and 4 important paragraphs asking legal advice because I fatfingers the f12 key while trying to press backspace. You can disable this "feature" here (opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts) if you want too.
