I was about to give up this problem, because changing "Local State" could not solve the problem. (the browser revised the local state back to the original state!). but finally, removing "Local State" worked perfect to me, thanks to the solution from agafitos2003.
No, there isn't - and hasn't been since 15. There is a checkbox to show advanced settings at the bottom of the Browser tab, but it would be anyone's guess whether that has whatever you're really looking for.
You've obviously been reading something related to Opera Presto (versions 7 to 12), current Opera is not related to that at all.
Did you try using the offline package? You obviously downloaded the network installer but something - probably a firewall - is preventing it from downloading the actual program. There's a link just below the green button to download the full installer; that should solve this problem. Mind you, once Opera is installed properly you may have to authorize that in the firewall, but maybe it'll be okay.
Hi @pixk, I'm sorry to say that Opera will also stop supporting 10.7 and 10.8 in the near future. Opera 37 will probably be the last release to support them. There are simply not enough users of those operating systems (and the group is shrinking) for us to warrant the cost of maintaining Opera for these OSes.
