I would think that it is the best way for you to delete the Opera app and re install it so that it will clear up the mess. IF you are looking for a download video downloader on Opera's extensions. Then it is at: https://addons.opera.com/en/search/?query=download+video&type=extensions

Off subject, I use the CleanMyMac app to clean it up.

Make sure that your OSX (App Store/Updates) is updated first and then update for all browsers that you have on your computer (or iMac).
Where is closed caption for downloading a video clip?

Was this ever resolved? When clicking a link on Facebook and Twitter a new tab is created but not loading. It doesn't matter what version of Opera but here's what I have currently.

Version: 37.0.2171.0 - Opera is up to date
NO extensions are loaded.

System: Mac OS X 10.11.3 64-bit
Command Q doesn't quit Opera?

I use this Chrome extension. There are a few settings to go through to get it to delete data on exit. One small downside, you have to close the browser window (red x in top left) for it to work before exiting the browser (cmd Q). Better than forever waiting for a native feature.

add after:
