@frankarif Now, if you are saying that you defined DuckDuckGo page to be opened when Opera starts but Google is opened instead, then something may be broken.

Try changing the option, restart Opera and then set DDG as the page to be opened together with Opera.
How do you use Opera's built-in IRC client ?

@ragnar2099 Unsupported browser is up to the website. They choose to write their website for Chrome or Edge and then tell any other browser it isn't supported, even though there is no difference.

On a few sites they don't like the ad blocker or tracker blocking, but most of the time they just can't be bothered to support a browser that's just not as popular. If they let you "Proceed anyway?", do so. If they don't, install a user-agent switcher extension to tell them you're "really" using Chrome.
Has Opera added a "multiple users" (profiles) feature like Chrome has??

Thats a showstopper for me. I come from Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers and used this feature for years.

Very disappointing and unfortunately I go back to Edge now. I used Opera in the old days and looked forward trying it again. But now I will uninstall on my computers and phone.

Well it took a while but I figured this out. Not sure why nobody at Opera can answer the question.

Turns out the problem is GPU acceleration is the problem. Turning it off fixed it. But not until I had completely uninstalled and reinstalled Opera and found that didn't fix it. It had started with the update before the most recent, for some reason.

So for anyone else running into this, turn off GPU acceleration.
